Designed for Ferrari vehicles, this bushing helps cushion suspension joints and maintain proper movement under load, contributing to smoother handling and improved ride comfort. Built to endure the demands of high-performance driving, it supports consistent performance and helps reduce unwanted play in the suspension system while preserving the dynamic feel Ferrari drivers expect. What is the bushing? A bushing is a soft, resilient insert that sits between metal parts to absorb vibration, reduce friction, and allow controlled movement. In a Ferrari suspension, the bushing cushions a control arm or link as it moves, keeping components aligned while isolating road shocks from the chassis. By damping motion, the bushing helps maintain steering response, tire contact with the road, and overall ride quality during cornering, braking, and acceleration. It also serves to isolate vibration, reduce cabin noise, and preserve precise alignment under dynamic loads. Why is the bushing Important? Bushings wear with use, heat, and harsh conditions, and can become cracked, hard, or loose. Worn bushings may produce clunking noises, play in the suspension, and subtle changes in alignment that affect ride height and handling. Replacing them restores proper geometry, reduces vibration transfer to the cabin, and distributes loads more evenly across joints. For Ferrari applications, fresh bushings help preserve precise handling, predictable response, and long-term durability of the suspension system under dynamic driving. Uneven bushing wear can contribute to uneven tire wear and misalignment that affects steering feel. Installation Guide & Support Installation should be performed with the vehicle on a level surface and properly supported. Access the bushing housing, remove any surrounding components or fasteners as needed, and use appropriate tools to press or seat the new bushing into place. Refit hardware, ensure smooth operation, and verify that movement is free of binding before completing assembly. After installation, perform a cautious road test to confirm improved ride quality and stability. If you’re not experienced with suspension work, seek qualified assistance and contact support with your SKU fe-85711900 for compatibility questions. Keep surrounding joints clean and inspect related components for wear; where practical, replace in matched pairs to maintain balance.
