The lh-outer-fin is a left-hand exterior trim piece designed for Ferrari vehicles. This component follows the outer edge of the body, helping define the car’s profile while supporting adjacent panels. It contributes to aerodynamic flow and provides a clean, consistent finish that matches Ferrari styling. Replacing a damaged or worn lh-outer-fin helps protect nearby surfaces and preserves the vehicle’s appearance. What is the lh-outer-fin? The lh-outer-fin works as a exterior trim that anchors to existing mounting points on the left side of the car. It channels air along the body to help manage airflow around the wheel arches and lower panels. As a direct exterior component, it helps maintain the overall balance of the car’s lines and the edge details that are part of Ferrari styling. Why is the lh-outer-fin Important? A properly installed lh-outer-fin supports both form and function. When this fin is damaged, gaps can appear, exposing substrates and allowing dirt or moisture to reach protected areas. Replacing it helps preserve aerodynamics, reduce wind noise, and keep panels aligned during normal use. As part of the exterior trim, this piece helps maintain the vehicle’s visual integrity and reduces the risk of further misalignment or paint chipping at the edge. For Ferrari owners, keeping the outer fin in good condition supports the premium look and confident handling expected from the brand. Installation Guide & Support To install the lh-outer-fin, start by inspecting mounting points and confirming you have the correct part (fe-85671500) for your vehicle. Align the fin with the body line and nearby panels, then engage the primary fasteners or clips before securing secondary attachment points. Gently press to seat the fin evenly and check that gaps around the edge are uniform. After installation, verify that the panel sits flush and that adjacent panels align along the edge. If you are unsure about fit or mounting sequence, seek professional installation to protect the finish and ensure proper alignment.
