Designed for Ferrari performance cars, the rh-lateral-active-aero-cover is a purpose-built exterior component that works with the vehicle’s active aero system. It helps shape airflow along the right-hand side of the car, supporting stability at speed and contributing to the overall aerodynamic balance that Ferrari engineers tune for performance driving. This cover is a critical part of sustaining precise handling, consistent downforce, and the sleek, high-performance appearance that defines modern Ferrari sports cars. What is the rh-lateral-active-aero-cover? The rh-lateral-active-aero-cover is a protective and functional shell that forms part of the car’s aero profile on the right-hand side of the rear area. It contributes to directing air smoothly around the wheel arch and along the side, while shielding underlying components from debris, spray, and minor impacts. In combination with other aero elements, this cover helps maintain consistent downforce, reduces drag, and supports the overall efficiency and balance of the vehicle during cornering, acceleration, and high-speed runs. Why is the rh-lateral-active-aero-cover Important? Over time, the cover can suffer from chips, cracks, or mounting wear that alter its fit and effectiveness. Replacing a damaged cover helps preserve aero integrity, prevents rattling and misalignment, and maintains the intended air path around the wheel arch. Keeping the cover in good condition supports steering feel, traction, and high-speed stability, while helping protect nearby parts from dirt, moisture, and impact. A properly maintained aero cover also contributes to a consistent driving experience and preserves the appearance of the Ferrari’s side profile. Installation Guide & Support Installation should follow standard workshop practices. Before fitting, inspect mounting points and fasteners for wear, clean mounting surfaces, and ensure correct alignment with the aero system. Fit the new cover using the original mounting locations, secure it snugly, and verify there is no rubbing or interference with moving parts or nearby panels. After installation, perform a light road test to check for noise, fitment, and smooth air flow. If in doubt, seek guidance from a qualified technician to ensure proper fit and peak performance for your Ferrari.
