This Ferrari seat-release-lever is a dedicated component designed to support smooth access and secure seating. It helps drivers and passengers operate the seat mechanism with confident, ergonomic motion and without forcing the controls. Built to match the function and feel of the original part, it contributes to reliable seat engagement and consistent release performance, supporting proper seating position, comfort, and safety during driving, service, and interior adjustments. This lever works as part of the broader seat track system to maintain long‑term durability in everyday use. What is the seat-release-lever? A seat-release-lever is a manual control that engages a latch or linkage within the seat track or backrest assembly. When moved, it disengages a catch, allowing the seat to slide, tilt, or fold as designed, and then re‑engages when released. The lever cooperates with mounting hardware and actuators to provide a straightforward way to access the vehicle cabin, accommodate different drivers, or facilitate maintenance tasks without reaching for complicated tools. Why is the seat-release-lever Important? Replacement matters because this part supports safe operation and precise seat positioning. A worn or damaged lever can cause inconsistent releases, misalignment, or unwanted seat movement, which may affect driving posture and control. Keeping a fresh seat-release-lever helps preserve the integrity of the seat track, reduce wear on nearby components, and maintain reliable access to the cabin. For Ferrari interiors, a correctly functioning lever contributes to a consistent feel and dependable seat control under everyday use. Installation Guide & Support Installation is straightforward for a trained garage or enthusiast with basic hand tools. Start by locating the existing lever and mounting points on the seat frame, remove any fasteners, and attach the new lever in the same orientation. Reconnect any linkage, then verify that the lever engages the latch smoothly and releases with a full range of motion. Check clearance with surrounding trim and test the seat through multiple positions. If you need guidance, our parts team can assist.
